Change 1/30/13

Change in plans, now I'll be going home on Friday instead of Thursday.  The dialysis clinic in Faribault can't fit me in till Tuesday of next week.  Also I will have to do dialysis on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.  Not a huge deal, I guess I have learned that things don't woek out perfectly in the medical world.

news 1/29/13

I have some good news to share, I'm going home Thursday!  The rehab center is going to check with the Faribault dialysis clinic to get an appointment set up for Friday.  It has been over 2 and a half months since I had surgery on my foot.  It's been a long bumpy ride towards home, but I knew with God on my side he'd get me through.

I can't wait to be home and see Karla every day and be closer to friends and family.  The increased freedom will be awesome too, but I'm quite sure my wife and parents will keep a close eye on me.

I will probably do dialysis Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Then I will also do PT at CSMR in Northfield.  I've started looking for part time work around Northfield, if anyone knows of any openings please let me know.

Thanks again to everyone for the cards, phone calls, visits, and prayers.  All of the support really makes a guy feel loved!

1st timer

After some nudging a long by a few people I've decided to start up a blog.  Not exactly sure what I'm going to talk about, but only time can tell!

At this time I'm staying at Park Health And Rehab working on therapy, getting my foot healed, and going to dialysis 3 days a week.  Today my PT and I were talking about the Super Bowl in a couple weeks and he said that I should be home to watch it....woo hoo!!  Sounds good to me.

Thanks to all of my awesome friends and family, I believe your prayers are giving me the will to get through all of these hurdles!
